Crowds gather to watch them workHello magazine, February 13, 2001Busy Times Square in New York ground to a standstill last week as some of Hollywood's biggest stars took to the streets to film scenes for a new satirical comedy, Death to Smoochy. Crowds gathered to watch Robin Williams (right, befriending Radio Man, a homeless person, Edward Norton (below left) and Danny DeVito, who directs and stars in the movie (left and below right) get down to work. Also visiting the set was Norton's girlfriend, Desperado actress Salma Hayek (below). She and Ed have managed to keep their romance relatively low-profile by Hollywood standards. Salma says: "Ed's a brilliant man and a great actor, but I don't want to talk about our relationship because we feel it's something we need to keep private."
