The benefit screening of The Score that was hosted by Edward Norton and held on Monday, July 9, 2001 at Baltimore's Senator Theatre raised over $180,000. The money will go to benefit The Enterprise Foundation in memory of Robin Norton. Since the screening ended only a few hours ago, more information will follow. For more information on the Enterprise Foundation, please read the screening announcement or visit the Enterprise Foundation Website
I wanted to point out some comments in Bart Harvey's speech that talk about EN's mother:
And then there was Robin Norton, who I got to know well, who cared deeply about teaching. She would really love this event because she is the only one I know who taught Shakespeare in costume in the public school system. She was constantly reaching out to others. She was joyous, enthusiastic, challenging, loving, caring person and it couldn't be more fitting that you're here raising money in her honor. And obviously she passed it on to the next generation.
