These are ads placed in entertainment trade magazines to encourage nomination for the Oscars. I acquired these scans off of auctions on eBay. I don't know the exact magazines (probably Variety and the Hollywood Reporter) or the date that these ran. Oscar ads are periodically auctioned on eBay by several different sellers.
