The event is open to the public. The Common Ground Film Festival is a presentation of eight award-winning films that emphasize the common humanity shared by people in conflict, illustrating why they feel, think, and act as they do. Flatbroke's NoteOne of the questions you might be asking after hearing about this event is "Will Edward Norton be attending the festival?". I don't know. There is no mention of him attending in the press release and his next project Red Dragon is currently filming. However, since he contributed to the planning of the festival, I can't completely exclude the possibility. EN also has a connection to the sponsoring organization Search for Common Ground. In December 2000, EN was honored with a Common Ground Award for his film Keeping the Faith. His grandmother Libby Rouse was also honored with a lifetime award for her work.
