Kevin Spacey in line for remake of Norwegian movie

Kevin Spacey is in talks to star in a new version of the Norwegian film "Elling."

The original movie was nominated for Best Foreign Film at this year's Oscars.

Ed Norton is also expected to be in the American version of the film about two former psychiatric patients.

Dag Alveberg, the Norwegian film's producer, told www.aftenposten.no he knew Spacey had been in negotiations for the title role.

Norton is being lined up to play Kjell Bjarne.
